The good: Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour In-Ear Headphones feature a unique and stylish design, and the cable seems more durable than that of most earbuds.

The bad: Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour In-Ear Headphones have extra long earpieces that may not be comfortable for all users, and they don't offer much in the way of sound isolation.

The bottom line:The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour In-Ear Headphones offer much in the way of style and sound, but the extra-long earpieces my cause comfort and fit issues for some users.

The Best Headphones I have ever owned,November 19, 2010

I was a little skeptical at first about these in ear headphones. I saw them at stores like best buy and circut city and gave a listen and was pretty convinced to purchase a pair. I only really used my apple ear buds and knew that they were somewhat uncomfortable in the ear for long periods of time and the broke easily.

One of the man reasons I bought these headphones was because of the flat headphone cables made by Monster which is a quality microphone cable company (among others).

The headphones feel great in the ear and have many different attachments so you can make comfort and listening adjustments. The sound was good, but not as good as I thought. I heard more bass before and not so much on the ones I bought. Maybe it was the song, but for the most part the rest of the music was very clear and crisp.

I like how extra attention was payed to the end of the cable near the jack. This is usually where cables go back and Monster looks like they have realized that and did a little extra work to make that not happen.

I have only had the headphones for about two weeks and have enjoyed them so far. Are they the end all be all....No, but they are by far the best headphones that I have ever owned.

I spent many months debating whether or not to spend $150 on these headphones. I care about audio quality, but it was a lot of many, especially if they weren't going to be perfect. Having now owned these for about 3 months I can say that I'm EXTREMELY happy with the purchase. The sound quality is the best I've ever found in ear bud headphones. I've also tried 2 different types of similarly priced Bose ear buds and found that both the sound quality and comfort was much better with the Beats. I use the headphones mostly for dance and electronic music, so the slight bump Beats give to the bass is much appreciated and never distracting, regardless of what type of music I'm listening to. Including many different types of tip attachments makes it easy for anyone to find the right fit. I'm so happy with the headphones that in the last 3 months I've convinced 2 friends to buy them as well and both have been as happy as I am.

My only complaint about the headphones is that they only come with 2 of each tip attachment and if you lose one of the ones you like, you have to call Monster and BUY replacements. For the incredibly high price point, they should really be offering free replacements like Bose does, especially since the tips are tiny pieces of rubber, hardly an expensive thing for them to replace.

Overall, I'd recommend anyone who is on the fence to go ahead and buy them here. If you don't like them, you can return them within 30 days. That said, I would be willing to bet that you will be very happy with your purchase.
